I started Hurry Up Slowly as a quiet return to joy — a space where I could create beautiful, purposeful resources for early learners and thoughtful teachers.
My teaching journey began with a library card and a flashlight under the covers, and it led me through years of classrooms, book writing, and raising a family. When the school bell stopped ringing for me, a new question emerged:
Can I still create something that matters — just for the joy of it?
That’s how this little turtle began her next adventure.
